Braised Greenwheat Freekeh

Cooking Time: 30 mins
4 Tbl olive oil
1 onion – diced
4 cloves garlic – crushed
2 Cup Greenwheat Freekeh
5 Cup water or vegetable/chicken stock
1 tsp salt
Heat olive oil in a heavy based pot. Fry off the onion and garlic until transparent.
Add the water, stock and Greenwheat Freekeh.
Bring to the boil and reduce to simmer.
Cover and cook gently – stirring occasionally for about 25 minutes or
until the Freekeh is tender.
